Central Thailand

The Chao-Phraya River system runs from the north of Thailand to the south to open the Gulf of Thailand at Bangkkok. The Mae Nam Chao Phraya river is the largest and most important river in Thailand, alongside the Mekong river. It is an important traffic hub of Thailand and is also used with many channels (khlongs) for irrigation of the rice cultivation areas. (Wikipedia)
